The opening of the page is an appropriate place to describe the physical features of the plant in more detail than the info-box, and a short description of what makes it special, to be gone into further detail further down. This section should be no more than a paragraph or two. Re-state its scarcity, as described in the info-box.

Habitat

Expand upon the location this plant is found, as well as the places it can survive. The sort of environment it prefers or needs. If this plant is found in multiple locations or habitats, use this to describe what they have in common, and include individual habitats in level 3 headings.

Cultivation

If applicable, please describe what it takes to grow this plant either outside of its natural habitat, or en-masse. If inapplicable, do not include this subsection.

Local Lore

If only found in one area, do not include sub-headings, and instead place the information under 'primary location' here.

Primary Location

Include common knowledge about the plant in question that would be known to those who live in its habitat. This shouldn't' be technical or all encompassing knowledge, but instead a description of its properties or warnings someone might know in passing, such as how to tell it from similar plants, what it's good for, and what to just stay away from.
Plants marked 'Rare' and rarer should be revered or loathed as appropriate, and have very little accurate information concerning them. Extinct plants should contain only old rumors or ponytales.

Properties

This section is for technical knowledge that would /not/ be known without research or recorded elsewhere.

Benign

This subsection is for all beneficial properties this plant may be used for or has inherently. These properties should be assumed to fall under the Nature of the plant in the info-bar, which deviations mentioned specifically. An example being Poison Joke, which when cooked is completely edible and used in fine cooking, but has distinctly magical properties.

Malign

As above, but with dangerous or malignant properties of the plant, such as the above example of Poison Joke's effects on ponies on contact.

Other

Any other physical or magical properties, including a detailed description of its appearance, taste, scent, etcetera.

Acquisition

All entries save those marked 'extinct' are to be considered acquirable through some form or another. This is the place to describe how it may be acquired, any barriers to doing so, a vague idea of how much it costs (Very Rare herbs should not be available for purchase).

Subspecies

If this plant has any noteworthy subspecies which are similar enough to be recognizable as a variation of this plant, but not different enough to warrant its own page, describe them hear under level 3 headings.

Subspecies 1-?

Rather than re-enter all the above information, describe the apparent differences in the plant, if any, and include relevant information in the following level 4 headings.

Scarcity and Acquirement

Certain plants (such as the Joke family) have much rarer variations, and are harder to acquire as a result. These variations should be entered here with the following format.
Scarcity Level
Paragraph describing scarcity

Differences in Properties

Simply describe any variations in properties in an orderly manner, use a level 5 heading if necessary.
